## What KnowledgeLint does

KnowledgeLint inventories accessible current pages in selected Confluence spaces and identifies stale, outdated, conflicting, duplicate, ownerless, deprecated, prompt-injection-like and attachment-coverage risks. Reviewers see affected sources, short evidence, severity, confidence, rationale and suggested actions. Authorized admins can create Jira cleanup work and use a later scan to verify whether the source risk disappeared.

KnowledgeLint is useful for employee self-service, search, documentation, support operations, governance, Rovo, AI Search and other assistants. It is not limited to AI use cases.

## Important product boundaries

- KnowledgeLint never edits or deletes Confluence pages automatically.
- Findings require human review and are not an exhaustive correctness guarantee.
- Full Confluence page bodies and extracted attachment text are transient scan inputs and are not persisted in the V1 result.
- Stored app data is minimized to metadata, fingerprints, risk cases, findings, short evidence, settings, audit events, Jira links and aggregate AI-usage metadata.
- V1 uses Atlassian Forge, Forge SQL, Atlassian APIs and Forge LLM and declares no external app-runtime egress.
- The public website never receives customer Confluence or Jira content.

## Typical workflow

1. Choose a consequential Confluence space and define the business workflow or questions it should support.
2. Inventory every accessible current page in scope and run deterministic checks plus bounded semantic review.
3. Review and confirm, dismiss or assign evidence-backed findings.
4. Update, merge, deprecate or clarify the canonical source in Confluence; optionally create Jira cleanup tickets.
5. Re-scan the scope. KnowledgeLint marks a case verified only when a later completed scan no longer observes the evidence and records regressions if it returns.
