KnowledgeLint Terms of Use

Effective 9 August 2026. These terms apply to KnowledgeLint V1 Marketplace evaluations and paid Marketplace use unless a signed agreement states otherwise.

Authorized use

Customers may use KnowledgeLint to audit Confluence spaces they are authorized to administer or review, inspect findings, export minimized audit data, and explicitly create Jira remediation tickets.

Customers must not use KnowledgeLint to access or process content they are not authorized to audit and remain responsible for compliance with their internal policies and applicable law.

Human review and product boundaries

KnowledgeLint does not automatically edit or delete Confluence content. AI-assisted and deterministic findings are decision support and require competent human review.

KnowledgeLint does not guarantee exhaustive detection of every duplicate, contradiction, outdated page, prompt-injection pattern, or other knowledge risk. Results depend on selected scope, accessible content, configured budgets, Atlassian availability, and customer review.

Customer content and data handling

Customers retain ownership of their Confluence and Jira content. KnowledgeLint reads page bodies transiently during scans and stores minimized metadata, fingerprints, risk cases, findings, short evidence, audit events, settings, Jira links, and aggregate AI usage metadata.

Customer content is processed only to provide KnowledgeLint audit, reporting, ticketing, privacy, and operational functions and is not used to create unrelated cross-customer datasets.

Platform dependency and availability

KnowledgeLint runs on Atlassian Forge and depends on Atlassian Cloud availability, quotas, Confluence and Jira APIs, Forge SQL, and Forge LLM availability. Support targets are response objectives rather than guaranteed resolution times.

No certification claim

Unless a signed agreement explicitly states otherwise, KnowledgeLint is not represented as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, or legally certified compliance software. Customers remain responsible for their own legal, security, procurement, and compliance decisions.
